Is it possible to encourage communication?
This is a question our group faces now. We have discussed this over and over.
maybe... :
Ask an interesting question - people will answer.
Give a topic for discussion - people will discuss.
Make an outrageous claim - people will debate.
Ask for feedback - people will comment.
Give a platform - people will speak out. (will they?)
Have a known professional write a blog - people will comment.
Have a common goal, a school project, a course - people will interact.
A lot of ways to encourage communication has been discussed in our group. One thing seems to be evident - communication can be encouraged only to a certain point; it has to come from the "communicators", not from an outside source.

Decisions, at last!

We have chosen the web2.0 service that will form the core of our project! And the winner is....PROTOPAGE! Three hurrays for winner!
Protopage proved to be the most easy to use, most light to use and its outlook can be modified to suit our needs. Thus it is the winner.
This page will serve as a portal where we will collect all the relevant information and link the pages we will use. Now we are searching for all the relevant content for the page. We have now two test grounds that are here:
http://www.protopage.com/iiptest
and http://www.protopage.com/edimtest
More content will be put on these pages as we try out new services.
In other news, our group has struggled with some absence's, with more in the immediate future. Luckily, we posses so good work spirit that we have done extra days to keep in pace. Even now we are working on day originally not intended as work day.
